Keep Your Heart started as ‘This Heart Interlude’ - the original demo from the EP, a loop of vocals and percussion, ‘Cor mundum crea in me’ from Psalm 51 (Miserere mei) which translates as ‘Create in me a pure heart’. The backbeat produced by Ken McCabe and Andre Antunes attracted Bantum to remix it. Feeling it needed further narrative, Godknows added an incredible story, performed to perfection. Because it was so high energy, Ben Bix was recruited to add further excitement. Dunny was the final piece of the puzzle bringing it back to heartfelt piano. Thus we have a perfect prototype for collaboration and the wonderful cross-pollination and excitement of the Irish music scene right now!
